By adding a lead form to your digital publication on your website it can help you generate more revenue by creating a pipeline to potential new customers, it can also help improve your marketing campaigns and it gives you the opportunity to grow your new customer lead data base.

Flowpaper has incorporated a lead form feature to capture readers for your publication, whether it is a magazine, flipbook, or a brochure, who would be interested to see more.

How to generate leads from your PDF documents

For enabling leads in Flowpaper, make sure that you have the latest version installed.

1. Import your PDF

First, you have to import the PDF file. The lead capture feature is available for all of our templates: Zine, Elements, and Mobile-first.

2. Style and customize your publication

Once you are happy with the look of your publication and are ready to publish it, choose the “Cloud Hosted” button in the publish drop-down menu, a pop-up window will appear on your screen. In the pop-up window, select the “Add Leads Form” button.

3. Enabling and customise the Lead form

A new pop-window will appear, giving you additional customisation options. Here you can decide which page of your flipbook you want the lead form to appear, add an email/name or be able to skip the email step. You can also give your lead form a custom title.

4. Upload the publication

Once you are finished with the Lead form customisation, click on “OK” to return to the upload window. Publish as you normally would. Once published, you can view your lead form in the published version and you will see that it will appear on the selected page. If someone tries to 'jump' into the publication by selecting a page further in, the lead form will still pop-up prompting the reader to fill it out.

5. View your finished digital flip book

You can easily look at your newly created flip book by clicking the view button in the publishing window once the publication has finished uploading. Here you see the lead form generated at the correct page in the publication.

6. How to disable a lead form

If you at a later date do not want to keep the lead form in the publication, it is easy remove it. You do this by opening the publishing window again and click the disable button. You will need to re-upload the publication for this to take affect on your active publication.

How to view collected Leads

For viewing the generated leads, log in to your account, head on down to the “Cloud Publications” on the left side, and choose “View Leads” on the right side of the publication in the list you want to view. Some additional options allow you to sort the leads by date, search, export to CSV. 

To adhere to the GDPR regulation, you have the option to delete all the collected leads or individual entries.This selection is located at the top right corner in your lead form window.
