FlowPaper 3.1.6 Release Notes

In short, the most significant improvements in this release:

  • The FlowPaper cloud hosting now supports password protected publications. Expand the advanced settings in the publishing dialogue under cloud hosting to add a password to your publication.
  • Infinite zoom for more Android devices as well as for our Elements viewer in both iOS and Android
  • Improved mobile search for Zine

  • Fixed a regression error related to the viewer not showing in full when the search abstract was visible (Zine)
  • Zine in the desktop publisher will now produce binary JSON output which compresses output further and provides improved compatibility with more web servers (Desktop Publisher)
  • Fixed an issue where the TOC was being lost when switching between 10 pages and all pages in Zine mode (Desktop Publisher)
  • Enabled search in smaller mobile devices and improved search UX (Zine, Desktop Publisher)

  • Fixed an issue where clicking full screen again when already in full screen did not exist the full screen mode when using the Elements viewer (Desktop Publisher)

  • Improved indent handing when reflowing publications (Desktop Publisher)
  • Its now possible to include/exclude specific images without making manual selections when editing page layouts in the reflowable mode (Desktop Publisher)
  • Improved max zoom via pinching for Android devices (Zine)
  • Improved max zoom via pinching for Android and iOS devices (Elements)
  • Improved full screen compatibility for iOS devices in FlowPaper Elements (Desktop Publisher)
  • Improved font loading checks for Chrome 60+ to ensure all fonts are loaded before adjusting text sizes (Elements)
  • Fixed an issue where fonts were not being converted properly when switching from non-flattened to flattened mode in Zine (Desktop Publisher)
  • Fixed an issue where bookmarks were not being resolved properly in some cases (Zine)
