How to Add Links to Your Flipbook or PDF

Links make your flipbook interactive and let you connect pages, websites, or actions. In FlowPaper, you can add clickable areas, visible hotspots, or embed external content.

Add Links Step by Step

  1. 1 Open your flipbook. Open an existing publication in FlowPaper, or upload a new PDF to create one.
  2. 2 Enter Edit mode. Go to the page where you want to add a link, then double-click the top area of that page.
  3. 3 Add a link element. In the right-side menu, choose Link Area, Hotspot Link, or Embed URL.
  4. 4 Choose the link type. You can link to an external URL, email address, phone number, a specific page, or a JavaScript action.
  5. 5 Place the link. Click OK, draw the area where the link should appear, then resize or reposition it as needed.
  6. 6 Preview your flipbook. Click Design in the top-right corner and verify that the link behaves correctly.
