Create Social Media Stories from Your PDF
This tutorial shows how to reuse PDF content to build social media stories in FlowPaper.
You will learn how to:
- Open a PDF with the Social Media template
- Select elements to include in your story
- Publish and share your story URL

Step-by-step guide
1) Import PDF with the Social Media template
Upload your publication in the dashboard and choose the Social Media template.
In the font popup, select the option that best matches your document. Then select your import options in the next popup.
2) Review source pages and story workspace
After import, the window is split into two areas:
- Left side: source pages
- Right side: story workspace
3) Add content to your story
Scroll through source pages and add content in either of these ways:
- Double-click an element
- Drag and drop it into the story area
4) Rearrange story blocks
Click a block, then drag it from the top-left handle area to reposition it in your story.
5) Edit story settings
Use the settings icon to update heading text, change images, or include a footer link back to the publication.
In settings, you can:
- Edit heading text
- Switch images using next controls
- Upload a custom image from your computer
- Enable a footer link to the publication
6) Publish and share
When your story is ready, click Publish and choose cloud hosting or self-hosting.
For cloud hosting, click Start Upload. After upload completes, copy the generated URL and share it on your target social platform.
